Lakeydra Houston

Lakeydra Houston is a U.S. Air Force veteran, social justice leader, and Founder of KEY Advocacy Group LLC. She focuses on crisis intervention, veteran stabilization, and advocacy for survivors of violence. Her work centers on removing barriers to employment, housing, mental health services, and long-term stability for marginalized communities. 

 

With over a decade of experience, Lakeydra is certified in suicide intervention, victim advocacy, and resiliency training. She has supported survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence while helping unhoused veterans secure jobs, housing resources, and access to VA and community services. Her approach combines direct service with systems-level advocacy to create sustainable change. 

 

She is a recipient of the Presidential Gold Volunteer Service Award and partners with organizations including The Pink Berets, TASA, and NCVLI to strengthen

survivor protections and expand community resources. Lakeydra has been featured on Dateline NBC, recognized during the Dallas Cowboys Salute to Service initiative, and has participated in the Military Influence Conference. She has also received an honorary doctorate for her community work.

 

Through KEY Advocacy Group LLC, she continues to lead initiatives focused on stabilization, accountability, and empowerment ensuring veterans and survivors have access to the support and opportunities they deserve.
