CityServeX is the foundation of our Resource Coordination model—a powerful platform that uncomplicates and humanizes the way Dallas County residents access help. Trained Resource Coordinators serve as trusted guides, listening to each family's story, connecting them to vetted resources across housing, food, healthcare, employment, and more, and walking with them from crisis toward long-term flourishing. With one call to 888-INFO-CARE (888-463-6227), families gain access to a real person who cares, a constantly updated resource database, and a community-wide network committed to making sure no one navigates life alone.
CarePortal
CarePortal is the bridge between immediate need and immediate response. When school staff, social workers, or community leaders identify a child or family facing a crisis—an empty fridge, a child without a bed, a utility bill threatening to leave a home in the dark—CarePortal sends that need directly to local churches and community partners ready to respond. Through this real-time technology, vetted needs are met within hours, not weeks. CarePortal is already active in Dallas ISD, and as we grow the network of responding churches, we're building a county-wide safety net that catches families before crisis becomes catastrophe.
COPE (Cost of Poverty Experience)
COPE is more than a workshop—it's an interactive experience that transforms how communities understand and respond to poverty. Developed by Think Tank, Inc., COPE invites business leaders, educators, faith communities, government officials, and concerned citizens into the real-life circumstances of families navigating financial hardship in today's world. Participants don't just hear about poverty—they experience the impossible choices, the systemic barriers, and the resilience it takes to survive. The result is a unified community ready to act with empathy, partnership, and a deeper commitment to lasting change.
CAMI (Church As Movement Initiative)
CAMI is a 12-month immersive cohort that equips pastors and church leadership teams to transform their congregations into community engagement hubs. Led by Dr. Kwesi Kamau, CAMI moves churches beyond Sunday-morning programming and into the radical, reproducing, justice-oriented movement of the early Church. Through discipleship training, faith-based organizing, and Christian community development, participating churches develop strategic plans to engage their neighborhoods, address local injustice, and become true centers of healing and flourishing. CAMI churches don't just attract people—they transform communities.
