REGION CHAMPION

LaDavid Taylor
My early life experiences would predict I wouldn't amount to anything…but God. That testimony is the foundation of everything I do today. I'm LaDavid Taylor—veteran, minister, discipleship coach, and faith-forward Kingdom-builder. My calling is simple: walk alongside people and communities until flourishing becomes their norm.
As the Dallas County Region Champion for Unite-DFW, I help coordinate a network of churches, nonprofits, and community organizations working together to serve Dallas County. This has developed what we call The Dallas Flourishing Collective (TDFC)—a movement integrating CityServeX, CarePortal, COPE, and CAMI to walk families from crisis to stability to thriving.
I serve as a CAMI Discipleship Coach, supporting Pastor Kwasi Kamau, equipping pastors and church leaders to transform congregations into community engagement hubs. I previously served as the South Texas Associate Director for Alpha USA, helping churches across the region share the heart of the Gospel. I'm a Prison Fellowship Certified Volunteer and Prison Entrepreneurship Program Alumni, pouring back into the very places I once walked through.
Beyond the titles, I am a minister, speaker, and entrepreneur with a deep love for people, purpose, and the church.
I don't believe in "fixing" people. I believe in coming alongside them. I believe Dallas County—and every community—flourishes when we collectively care for each other. And I believe this work is worship.
Family
LaDavid is happily married to his wife, Regina, and together they are blessed with 5 children and 4 grandchildren. Family is the foundation of everything he builds—the daily reminder of why legacy, faith, and flourishing matter.
